A vision for India a decade along - around 2020AD

India can become the knowledge power-house of the world, with the establishment of a few million knowledge centres around the country. I dream of a kowledge centre in every village. These knowledge centres will co-exist with the traditional way of life in the country; viz. agriculture and other trades. It will however lead to a reverse brain drain. I will possibly be one of the first to embark on a career in such a knowledge centre in the middle of nature's greenery. Yes, a lush green countryside with all the required connectivity. That's it! That's all that is required to start such a knowledge revolution - good connectivity and a low cost device. Both of these requirements can be fulfuilled by open source. And yes there is one more requirement - open and accessible knowledge.

My first official blog post

While I have "blogged" earlier, this is my first official blog and my first official blog-post! And that is why I have decided to make it free-style - All In All Out. This will be a cocktail blog dealing with all topics I am interested in. The posts will be in all languages (natural and artificial) that I know. I am a believer in free IP and this blog will be a kind of a sand-box to test out my idea against what other people think like on those topics.

OK... that's it. I have not won a Nobel prize as yet that I can lecture on any longer!
